The Mike Furrey Foundation was founded in March of 2007.  After years of planning and designing the basic principals the foundation would follow, it became feasible to move forward with the vision.  The Mike Furrey Foundation is funded by Mike and Koren Furrey with a goal to receive additional funds through sponsorships and individual donations.

Marketing of the Mike Furrey Foundation is just beginning. The main purpose of adding marketing efforts is to raise awareness to the cause as well as increase donor dollars.  The focus will now turn to raising awareness primarily in Cleveland and Columbus, OH, Washington, DC, Detroit, MI and secondarily in the entire United States.  These efforts will include strong involvement by board members as well as the implementation of a strategic marketing plan.
